Washed-up revolutionary Bob lives in stoned paranoia off grid with his spirited, self-reliant daughter, Willa. When his nemesis resurfaces after 16 years and she goes missing, he scrambles to find her – both forced to confront the consequences of his past. Based on Thomas Pynchon’s Vineland, the film pits counterculture politics against reaction, with manic energy.
